Abstract：A controlled blasting method with a deeply drilled and enlarged explosive flask was adopted for blasting small-size foundation hole onto the design dimensions. As compared with the traditional explosive flask (with mul?ti-drilling holes) blasting method, this explosive flask controlled blasting method has the superiority in which the blasting area can be controlled by using a certain amount of explosive. Furthermore, as compared with the ordi?nary blasting method according to the design dimensions, the procedure of this controlled blasting method is much simple. In this paper, the application examples are proposed, and the key techniques of its procedure, the calcula?tion of the amount of the explosive, the method of drilling and enlarging the flask, etc, are described in detail.
