Abstract：As constructing the tunnels with soluable calcareous rocks whose geological con?ditions are complex，the outflow, mud-flow and surface collapse are usually occurred, caus?ing the construction of tunnels and later the maintenance in traffic extremely difficult and hardly to be brought under control. The experiences and wrongdoings in constructing such tunnels for so many years are introduced. This paper points out also the principal problems in constructing such tunnels and suggests the countermeasures that should be adopted.
