Abstract:Abstract : Research purposes : Subway located underground and was relatively closed, in the event of fire the harm would be great. It was very critical to control and exclude the fire smoke in the long cross - ocean tunnel. With the example of a cross - ocean tunnel, some common tunnel ventilation modes were discussed in this paper to get the advantages and disadvantages of those modes,the simulation analysis research on the final tunnel ventilation scheme was carried out using the subway environmental control simulation software SES in the cases of fire. Research conclusions:( 1) The semi - transverse ventilation has much more valves,and the control mode is complex. However,it has function of two - way evacuation. (2 ) Segmented longitudinal ventilation control model is relatively simple,but only has a one - way evacuation. ( 3 ) Considering the engineering characteristics,longitudinal ventilation was confirmed to be the final solution. (4) Cross - sea tunnel has poor internal environment,fans and other equipment should pay attention to the appropriate anti - corrosion to ensure the normal operation. (5) With the tool of the subway environmental control simulation software SES,the simulation results showed that the ventilation critical wind speed was above 2. 3 m/s,temperature and other indicators also met the requirements of relevant codes. (6) The research results could provide a reference for cross - ocean tunnel smoke control mode design.
