Abstract:Research purposes: As a common part of the Beijing-Shanghai and Coastal high-speed railway corridor in the medium and long-term railway network planning, Tianjin-Weifang High-speed Railway has an important railway network channel and intercity function. On the basis of the analysis of the passenger flow volume, considering the railway hub function orientation, the city master plan and railway hub master plan, the leading scheme has been systematically studied through the following aspects: introduction direction, selection of the route into Beijing, selection of the route into northeast direction and selection of the starting station, to provide a reference for the introduction of the Tianjin-Weifang High-speed Railway into Tianjin Hub. Research conclusions: (1) During the study of a high-speed railway leading into a complex railway hub, the city master plan as well as the railway function positioning in the network must be taken into consideration to choose a reasonable service scope. (2) For high-speed railway main lines, the rear access route should be compatible with its technical standards, to maximize its channel capacity. (3) The division of passenger stations within the railway hub should be considered comprehensively, so that the urban development can be promoted by the introduction of the new line. (4) The capacity of the existing railway facilities should be made full use of to avoid projects waste. (5) The research results can be directly applied to the subsequent construction and implementation of the Tianjin-Weifang Railway, and provide reference for the introduction of similar high-speed railway main line into large railway hub.
