Abstract:Research purposes: Freight transportation infrastructures are the important material bases of railway freight development. The layout of freight
transportation infrastructures is the key factor which affects operation cost and transportation efficiency of railway freight transportation. This paper has analyzed and studied the layout of freight infrastructure of the whole railway system, in order to propose a reasonable layout and realize the maximization of the system capability of the whole railway network.
Research conclusions:A "three-sections" concept which consist of huge loading(unloading)point, modern railway logistics center and common freight station has been adopted in this paper the first time. It has proposed the following optimized scheme of railway freight transportation infrastructures of the whole railway network:(1) Coal, coke, petroleum, iron & steel, mineral ore and other mass goods are in great demand, their flow and direction are stable, the customers are centralized. For mass goods, 994 huge loading(unloading)point are planned and distributed. (2)For logistics transportation, 183 modern railway logistics centers are planned and distributed(among them, 60 first-level nodes, 123 second-level two nodes). (3)Common freight stations are optimized and integrated according to the freight station distance of 25-30 kilometers each other. (4)This paper has been used as a realization basis of the layout and optimization of railway freight transportation infrastructure as well as some correlative projects.

Research on the Scheme of Introducing Guiyang-Guangzhou Line into the Guiyang Railway Station

Abstract:Research purposes: With the Chongqing-Guiyang, Chengdu-Guiyang, Changsha-Kunming, and Guiyang-Kaiyang railway lines accessing into the Guiyang hub as well as the northeast and northwest loop lines of the Guiyang hub open to traffic, the general pattern of the Guiyang hub has to be adjusted. Considering the characteristics of Guiyang city planning, for the convenience of passenger terminal, Guiyang Railway Station retains passenger operations as auxiliary passenger station. Many problems need to be solved, such as Guiyang-Guangzhou line how to introduce the leading hub, whether to need to introduce the existing Guiyang Railway Station, and the introduction scheme selection, extension program, station equipment layout and the existing connection. This paper elaborates the relevant research content of introducing Guiyang-Guangzhou Passenger Dedicated Line into Guiyang Station.
Research conclusions:Based on scheme analysis of introducing Guiyang-Guangzhou line into the hub, the paper identifies the reasonable recommended scheme by linking Guiyang station with passenger external line. By demonstration and comparison of the extension plans of introducing Guiyang-Guangzhou line into the Guiyang Station, the paper identifies the plane introducing scheme, analyzes the using of arrival and departure tracks and other issues, proposes the scheme selection principles of introducing passenger dedicated line into the existing station under normal condition: (1) When the terrain condition is better and other restricted conditions are less, the partitioned layout form of high speed and common speed field can be preferred.(2) When the terrain, demolition and other constraints restrict introducing, the elevated station can be adopted. (3) When the restriction conditions are more, and the existing lines need to be made full use of, the plane connection way can be used, especially for larger intermediate station and passenger station and the economical and practical of the scheme should be fully studied. (4) The research conclusion has the actual reference significance for scheme of introducing passenger dedicated line into existing station.

Abstract:Research purposes: Chengdu to Chongqing inter-city train Rongchang to Yongchuan section through mudstone shale clip limestone of Jurassic Ziliujing stratum, stone of the mined out area is formed after limestone is a large mining. Stone gob has wide distribution, shallow buried depth, surface easy deformation, cracking, collapse, great harmful to the inter-city train engineering, so it is necessary to find out the engineering geological conditions, and the correct evaluation and treatment.
Research conclusions:Investigation and evaluation of research through Rongchang to Yongchuan section of Chengdu to Chongqing inter-city train distribution of a large number of stone mined out area, we can draw the following conclusions: (1) The stone mined out area investigation difficulty is big, should carry on the comprehensive investigation in the borehole, verify the air region and interpretation of geophysical exploration of mined out area is arranged a large number of suspected speculation, achievement data should be comprehensive analysis and research. (2) Affecting the stone goaf stability of uncertain factors, we should adhere to the qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation method combining with evaluation, conclusions should be mutual authentication. (3) For high-speed ballastless track, it should be selected to calculate the safe distance from boundary angle, and set aside a certain width of protection zone, ensure the safety of the project. (4)The research results of this paper can provide references for survey and design of railway and highway projects through the mined out area.

Abstract:Research purposes: In the construction of high-speed railway, passenger dedicated line and railway network matching buildings in recent years, generally speaking, long-distance mainlines pass through broad areas with very complex topographic and geologic conditions, so local area is often hard to avoid for some age-old, irregular distribution, and the ground traces small mines and other ancient coal gob areas which is not obvious. This kind of coal gob areas ofen great harm to the railway buildings. How to accurately find out this kind of goaf spatial location, morphology, backfill and residual water filling conditions, the harmful gas composition and distribution etc, has always been a big problem in railway engineering geological investigation. Taking the export section of small dense tunnel for Gan-Long double track railway as an example, geological integrated survey technology can accurately find out the complicated engineering geological conditions, obtain reasonable geotechnical parameters, and provide a reliable basis for coal gob area reinforcement design.
Research conclusions:(1) The working steps of geological integrated survey technology by geological mapping, comprehensive geophysical exploration, combined with the necessary geological drilling, comprehensive test, and through the comprehensive analysis and research can accurately identify the gob complicated engineering geological conditions, obtain reasonable geotechnical parameters. (2)The construction of about four years for Xiaomi tunnel shows the result of geological integrated survey conforms to the actual geological conditions. (3) This paper points out the problems existing in the coal gob area comprehensive survey of railway engineering and gives appropriate recommendations. (4) The research results can provide the guidance and reference to similar engineering geological investigation of coal gob area for railway in the future.

Research on Massive Data Rendering Technology in Railway BIM Design System

Abstract:Research purposes: In order to deal with the problem that multidisciplinary integrated railway BIM design system appears slow to respond and stagnation of the user interface, due to inefficient large data rendering, pre-culling with CPU technology is developed. CPU cut off part of railway BIM models which don't need to render, reduces the amount of data for subsequent GPU computing, optimizes the CPU and GPU computation load, to enhance the system operation speed and reduce system response time.
Research conclusions:(1) R-tree spatial index is selected to implement the pre-culling, considering the spatial distribution of railway BIM models. (2) A test with BIM design models of Dafanpu to Mazha Railway shows that, the pre-culling with CPU technology based on R-tree spatial index increases the multidisciplinary integrated railway BIM design system's rendering efficiency by 170%~210%. (3) The pre-culling with CPU technology based on R-tree spatial index effectively alleviates the pressure of large data rendering. (4) The research results can be applied to railway multidisciplinary collaborative design domain.

Abstract:Research purposes: The unfavorable geological conditions, like the drifting sand, coal pits, loess landslides and collapses, were developed at the Haolebaoji-Sanmenxia section of Mengxi-Huazhong railway. At the same time, the complex landform has made the big range geological mapping work more difficult than usual. In order to improve the survey quality and optimize engineering geological mapping work, the remote sensing interpretation technology was utilized for unfavorable geological condition survey along the railway.
Research conclusions:(1)Based on the high resolution and 3D remote sensing technology, we managed to find out the characteristics of the unfavorable geological condition distribution along the railroad.(2)The characteristics of the drifting sand and coal pits distribution along the railroad were studied, furthermore, more than 270 loess landslides and collapses were checked out with the accuracy rate above 85 percent.(3)The integrated application of the high resolution and 3D remote sensing technology have met the demanding of the multiple unfavorable geological conditions survey, which provided important basic data for the engineering geological alignment.(4)This study results can be applied in unfavorable geological condition survey of long route engineering, especially at rugged mountain ranges.

Abstract:Research purposes: The heavy haul railway is paid extensive attention by countries all over the world because of its large capacity,high efficiency and low cost of transportation. As the most significant part influenced by train loads, the thickness design of the subgrade is usually determined by the principle of the stress ratio of 0.2 between dynamic load produced by train loads and gravity stress of the subgrade itself. While the sharing law analysis of axle force by rail loads on sleepers is the precondition of subgrade dynamic stress calculation, it is essential to analyse the sharing law of train loads and dynamic stress in subgrade. Based on the theory of elasticity finite element model of track-subgrade is established to analyse the load condition under different load levels and subgrade structure, to further solve dynamic stress distribution and attenuation rule in subgrade,which lay a foundation for thickness design of subgrade.
Research conclusions:(1)The sharing law of train loads is not effected by the axle loads and the structure of subgrade, train loads are shared by 5 sleepers for single axle wheel, shared by 8 to 9 sleepers for double axle wheels and shared by 15 sleepers for four axle wheels.(2)Wherever the axle load is acted directly above or on any position between the two sleepers, the shape,size and properties of Gauss function curve fited for the loads sharing remain the same, only the position moves as the position of the axle loads.(3)Under single axle wheel the stress ratio between dynamic stress produced by train loads and gravity stress of subgrade is about 0.2 which meet the design principle, while under multi axle wheels the ratio is between 0.3 to 0.5 which does not meet the design principle. (4)The above conclusions have important guiding significance to the structure design of heavy haul railway subgrade.

Analysis of the Deep Excavations Deformation Close to the Existing Operating Railway Based on Hardening-Soil Model

Abstract:Research purposes: The control of the deep excavations deformation close to the operating railway is the key to ensure the safe operation of the existing operating railway. In the numerical analysis of the excavations, it is critical to choose the suitable soil constitutive model and the calculating parameters. In the study of this paper, by using back analysis and comparing the calculation results with the on-site monitoring data, the access method of main geotechnical parameter of the soil constitutive model in this project is primarily defined, which has some references value to similar projects.
Research conclusions:(1) By using back analysis method, we get the empirical relationship between soil hardening model senior stiffness parameters and soil compression modulus Es(0.1~0.2). (2) According to the existing parameters, the number of land subsidence and the bending moment of retaining wall are calculated, which are matched with the site monitoring value and the excavation calculation results. Now the deep excavation engineering has already been finished, and the excavation retaining structure ensures the safe operation of existing railways. (3) By using back analysis method mentioned in this paper, the soil hardening model senior stiffness parameters is received by the soil compression modulus, which has a certain reference value when analyzing excavation under sensitive environmental conditions.

Application of Cantilever Retaining Wall with Pile Foundation in Subgrade Widening Engineering

Abstract:Research purposes: The cantilever retaining wall with pile foundation takes full advantage of cantilever retaining wall that has the advantages of simple in structure, convenient for construction, lighter in self-weight and both uses the characteristics of pile foundation which could transmit the force into deep formation. This design of retaining wall could solve the problem that the cantilever retaining wall relied on widening the foundation size to improve the ability of anti-overturning, ant-sliding, the pile foundation eliminated the influence of inhomogeneous subsidence of filling soil on stability of retaining wall. But the calculation method has not formed united knowledge. This paper referred to the code of railway subgrade and port on retaining and foundation design, discussed some significant problems with respect to the cantilever retaining wall with pile foundation, which included the analysis methods of deformation and internal force of pile foundation, load distribution and stress of foundation slab, the calculation method of foundation slab on punching resistance and so on.
Research conclusions:(1)The internal force calculation and deformation of foundation pile are based on the structure unit, foundation slab and pile are treaded as a whole, and think that foundation slab,pile and foundation can coordinate deformation in the upper loads and the elastic resistance of foundation. The calculation method can better reflect the characteristics of foundation pile in stress and deformation. (2) Pile space in the vertical retaining wall is magnified on resisting lateral deformation, so the distance from pile edge to the bottom edge should be controlled to meet the minimum construction. (3) Alternative framework method adopted in foundation slab greatly simplifies the calculation work, the results of alternative framework method is reliable.(4) The cantilever retaining wall with pile foundation can avoid the adverse effect of excavation and ground improvement on existing subgrade, and greatly reduce construction interference on movement of the train, the retaining wall has higher comprehensive economic and technical benefits.(5)The research results can be promoted and used for the design of retaining wall which is limited with construction space and lower sub grade bearing capacity.

Research on the Design Scheme of Turnout for Wenzhou Regional Railway

Abstract:Research purposes: In the domain of regional railway, the turnout is an important part of track structure and will affect the line design standard. In the urban railway transit, the main line turnout has lower passing speed, but in the national railway, the main line turnout has higher cost and poor in economy. To meet the needs of Wenzhou regional railway S1 line construction standard with speed 120 km/h, it needs to do research work and develop the suitable turnout product for Wenzhou regional railway which combines the characteristics of turnout of urban railway transit and national railway.
Research conclusions:(1) In the urban railway transit, the 60 kg/m rail No.9 turnout with fixed point rail exists harmful space and has lower passing speed. The movable portion of 60 kg/m rail No.9 turnout with moved point rail is too short, which can induce over switching force and inadequate displacement, as well as influence the track safety. Therefore, the 60 kg/m rail No. 9 turnout does not meet the regional railway requirements. (2) Through the comparison of rail horizontal alignment and frog type analysis, we obtained that 60 kg/m rail No.12 turnout with improved horizontal alignment of national railway GLC (08)01 and curved rail, moved point rail can meet the requirements of construction standard of regional railway;. (3) The fastener of 60 kg/m rail No.12 turnout with moved point rail uses the double elastic design with rail plate hard and elastic plate soft, which can make the fastener has good constraint capacity, low stiffness and adjustments. (4) The research results can provide some references for the design scheme of turnout for regional railway.

Abstract:Research purposes: In this paper, by taking the particularities on medium and low speed maglev traffic as the research object, the author advanced the research of three typical structure forms in current domestic and international of medium and low speed maglev traffic industry, introduced the technical features, the important components and the key points concerning the design and have a brief analysisofengineering adaptability on this basis. In order to provide a reference to improve the track structure design in medium and low speed maglev transit, further analyzing and realizing the system featuresand working characteristics of track system for medium and low speed maglev transit.
Research conclusions:(1)Generally, track system of the low speed maglev transit system includes rail equipment and its supporting structure, and composition of the section in structure of " T " shape, the key point for reasonable form of track structure design is a good deal with the relationship between rail and rail beam; active control of magnet/rail relationship have a decisive influence to the design of the track system; maglev system's stability require big quality, large damping and small deformation; small clearance suspended on the track system raised strictly and precisely requirement.(2)For the actual engineering application: the track of HSST system has more practical application experience, but was unable to realize the flexible adjustment of F rail; the bad economy of non-sleeper direct track connection; monolithic ballast track realized the highly structure integrity and good geometry properties by setting the new adjustment layers and deck type fastener system, all of above meet the requirements of the technology in low speed maglev traffic system.(3)The research results can provide references for the track design of the medium and low speed maglev traffic operating lines.

Abstract:Research purposes: This article studies the structure design of 1 667 mm broad gauge sleeper based on the American code, according to the basic parameter and ordain, puts forward the design principle of the sleeper. Based on the America AREMA calculation method, this article analyses the bending moment for sleeper, the calculation of bearing capacity of rail seat and sleeper center section, the calculation of static load test and so on, provides the basis for the test for sleeper and determines the basic design method of the broad gauge sleeper meeting the requirements of American Standard.Research conclusions:(1) The size and amount of reinforcement of the designed broad gauge sleeper meet the requirements of technical requirement. (2) According to the calculation method of America code, put forward the bearing capacity and static load test of sleeper. (3) The calculation results show that the sleeper bearing bending moment is greater than the load bending moment. (4) Static load and fatigue tests show that the designed sleepers meet the tests and anti-fatigue requirements. (5) Calculation and tests indicate that the broad gauge sleeper meet the standard based on AREMA and the requirements of Argentina railway project.

Abstract:Research purposes: The standard of train live load is the core parameter of railway bridge design, live load diagram need consider the factors of the present situation and development of mobile equipment, transporting mode, the operation speed and loading mode. Under the background of Shanxi Central-south Region Railway corridor, six different live load diagrams are presented for the heavy load trains of 30 t axle load in China. Development reserve coefficients of these six loads are calculated to evaluate the level of development reserve, based on the Chinese railway standard live load (2005) (Z=1.2), which is the design load of this coal line. The results show that, for small and large-span bridges, the design live load development reserve coefficient is small, for medium-span bridges, the design live load development reserve coefficient is large.
Research conclusions:(1)The design live load, Chinese railway standard live load (2005) (Z=1.2) can meet the requirement of 30 t heavy axis load freight train on Shanxi Central-south Region Railway corridor at present.(2) For bridges and culverts between 1m to 12 m, the development reserve coefficients are between 1.0 to1.2;For bridges and culverts between 12 m to 200 m, the development reserve coefficients are larger than 1.2. (3)The special load in Chinese railway standard live load (2005) (Z=1.2) is small in order to load reserve coefficients of small-span bridges are relatively low, and the special load in Chinese railway standard live load (2005) need to be improved. (4) The research results can be directly applied to the subsequent design of heavy railway bridges.

Abstract:Research purposes: This paper introduces working principle, design method, and application examples of bearings with E-shape metallic dampers. Finite element analysis and laboratory test have been done to validate the feasibility on bridges, and analyses its relative displacement and inner force of bridge when design level earthquake and rare earthquake happen to validate its energy absorption.
Research conclusions:The calculating method that this paper adopts is basically consistent with the results of finite element analysis and laboratory test, which shows validity and feasibility of design in this paper. Practical bridge test results shows that:(1)Bearings with E-shape metallic dampers can effectively decrease the relative displacement on the top of pier and internal force on the bottom of pier, so as to meet seismic demand. (2)The hysteresis loop is full, which shows that bearings with E-shape metallic dampershave entered the plastic stage and played a good characteristic of energy dissipation. (3)Bearings with E-shape metallic dampers can effectively reduce seismic response of bridges, so as to protect bridges from structure damage in earthquake. (4)Bearings with E-shape metallic damperscan be used on railway bridges which adopt seismic isolation design.

The Experimental Study of Wind-resistant Performance of Main Bridge of the Guiping Yu River Grand Bridge on Nanning-Guangzhou Railway

Abstract:Research purposes: The truss cable-stayed bridge has the characteristics of large span and low damping. The bridge is located in the valley or river and meteorological condition is more complex.The wind resistance performance should be researched in focused way. The wind tunnel test and analytical study were made for the wind-resistant performance for truss cable-stayed bridge of Yu River on Nanning-Guangzhou Railway. The aerodynamic parameter, the dynamic characteristics and the three component coefficients were calculated. The main girder sectional model test, the aeroelastic model test for the tower and bridge of construction and operation, the stay cable rain vibration test were included. The conclusions have been drawn for the wind-resistant performance of truss cable-stayed bridge. The characteristics of wind load and wind-induced response are researched to provide the basis for wind resistant design of main bridge, the wind resistance safety and comfort evaluation during the operation and construction.
Research conclusions:(1)The result of sectional model test shows that the vortex-induced vibration phenomenon isn't observed obviously, the emergency capacity of velocity of vibration stability is enough.(2)The result of tower aeroelastic model test shows that the galloping phenomenon of the tower doesn't happen, and the large amplitude of the vortex-induced vibration isn't observed on construction.(3)The result of bridge aeroelastic model test shows that the static destabilization phenomenon of velocity, transverse flection, torsion disperse doesn't happened in the girder of Yu River bridge. The vortex-induced vibration phenomenon on construction and the large amplitude of the wind-induced buffet on operation aren't discovered. (4)The result of stay cable rain vibration test shows that the resistance of slippery cable is less than other type cable but wind-rain vibration is easy to happen. The empaistic or whorled cable can avoid the occurrence of wind-rain vibration.(5)The reseatch result has a certain reference value for the truss railway cable-stayed bridge design.

Abstract:Research purposes: During the construction of Daliang tunnel, water inrush happened in the contact zone of the Ordovician limestone and slate at syncline wing, with a flow over 2 300 m3 per hour. Three times of larger-scale water and stone inrushes occurred during the treatment, which seriously impacted the safety of tunnel construction. As a result, it is significantly important to ensure the construction safety, by ascertaining the local hydrogeological condition and analyzing the reason of water and stone inrush, and adopting scientific and rational treatment measures.
Research conclusions:(1) Local fissures filled with powder rock mass material in the water-inrush zone, which led to clogging of groundwater runoff channels. The groundwater table rise up and water aggregated to a high pressure, resulting in water and stone inrush when hydrodynamic equilibrium condition was broken. (2) The circuitous pilot tunnel should be set at the downstream groundwater runoff, in order to reduce the construction risk. (3) The high discharge channel, whose bottom elevation at the end should be 6~10 m higher than the top of tunnel, should be set at upstream groundwater runoff. (4) This research result will be helpful to the analysis of hydrogeological condition and treatment of water and stone inrush of high pressure and water-rich tunnels.

Abstract:Research purposes: By using systemic analysis method,this paper, focuses on the technical issues between track-layout and signal system, such as system matching design, station effective length of track & platform settings, catch siding, successive route, turnouts in receiving-departure track, and turnout-settings in station etc. The contents and conclusions, which researched, are of positive significance not only in the quality improvement of railway track-layout and signal interface design, but also in the enhancement of the systemic railway engineering design.
Research conclusions:(1) The turnouts on which CTCS-0 is employed should not be the one with turnout number greater than 18#. The turnouts where CTCS-2 control system is adopted should not be the one with turnout number lower than 9#. (2) In case the distance between track center line and edge of platform is 1 750 mm, the speed limit of the main line should be set below 80 km/h, and correspondingly, the design of the turnouts and the tracks within station should be in line with the speed limit of train control system.(3)The effective length of passenger station track, the position and length of platform, and the locomotive stop location mark should take reasonably consideration into the starting signal, fouling post, balise and so on, which should be in line with the technical requirements of train control system. When it is difficult to meet the normal technical requirements in terms of the platform length and effective length of passenger station track due to the geographic and geomorphic conditions, special signal solution should be considered. (4) The position of catch siding should not be far from the intersection of the two lines extra safety methods such as "red light" or other train control measures combining with necessary traction simulation should be adopted to satisfy the requirements of safety and efficiency.(5) A conversion slope outside the home signal within the braking distance should not be greater than 6 per thousand as far as possible. If the conversion slope is greater than 6 per thousand, measures should be taken to satisfy the requirements of interval time design.(6)The turnouts layout for railway stations with more than two main lines should satisfy the installation requirements of movable switch machine.(7) The turnouts arrangement in CTCS-2/CTCS-3 section should consider the insulation joint settings of track circuit.(8) This paper can provide references for the interface design of railway track layout and signaling.

Analysis and Study of the PEIA for Intercity Railway Network

Abstract:Research purposes:Planning analysis is the basis for environmental impact analysis, prediction and evaluation of the Planning Environmental Impact Assessment (PEIA), especially analysis of planning and coordination is the key point. On the occasion of "Technical Guidelines Master of Planning Environmental Impact Assessment " is promulgated, based on the collection of a lot of detailed current situation data, as an example of the intercity railway network plan of Guanzhong City Group, this paper systematically studied the planning analysis of PEIA, which can be a reference for the railway network PEIA.
Research conclusions:Through analysis of the PEIA, we can drawn the following conclusions: (1)Using the analogy method, overlay method, scenario analysis method and so on, the environmental capacity in the planning area of the intercity railway network is identified. (2) From the data collection and field investigation in the planning area, it shows that the key environment and resource factors, which restrict the intercity railway network planning and implementation, are land resources, ecologically sensitive areas, water resources, artifacts, rare and endangered animals and plants, and so on. (3) The coordination between the railway network planning and other relevant planning are analyzed, which is relied on many different sights, for example planning and resource conservation, the coexistence of the environmental protection and urban development coordinating, and so on. The impacts of inter-city rail network on the national policies, planning, and regional planning are clear. (4) The analysis of the planning uncertainty is given to ensure the scientific conclusions.(5)The research results can be a guidance and reference in the intercity railway network planning and also have positive references for environmental impact assessment in the similar railway network plan.

Abstract:Research purposes: At present, many cities use either standard definition analogy solution or standard definition digital solution for the video monitoring system in existing rail transit lines, but the video monitoring technology is upgrading and developing quickly. When the rail transit lines need to extend, how to develop the technology of the video monitoring system and meet the growing demand of metro, neither affect the existing line operation nor interfere the existing system need to be considered in a lot of extension line projects.
Research conclusions:The research of standard definition digital solution and full high-definition solution in video monitoring system is discussed in a metro extension line in this paper.(1)According to analysis and comparison of the two solutions, the video monitoring system in extension line project can upgrade to full high-definition video solution.(2)In addition to build station subsystem and control centre subsystem, the open of control protocol and the reformation of interface should be done in system equipments of existing line.(3)The design can solve the problem of monitoring in operation control center and compatibility while the existing line use standard definition digital solution and the extension line use full high-definition video monitoring.

Abstract:Research purposes: BIM technology, known as the second revolution of the construction industry, will be the inevitable choice for information and sustainable development of construction industry. As the applications of BIM technology in China were limited in geometric modeling and collision analysis especially in subway design. The structure analysis of subway station based on BIM technology has been researched. Furthermore, BIM technology was extended to structural calculations and engineering statistics. The research provided references for whole life application of BIM technology in subway station.
Research conclusions:(1)A three-dimensional BIM model of a subway station standard segment has been established. The model was imported into Robot by Revit extensions and the structural calculations of subway station were carried out. The calculations achieved the sharing of project information between physical and analytical models, and reflected the core values of BIM technology.(2)By use of BIM, wall lists were generated that includes a variety of structural information, which provided an effective solution to difficult issues of engineering statistics especially for large-scale construction.(3)The research improved overall function of BIM platform and can provide a well guidance for the subway station structure design which based on BIM.

Abstract:Research purposes: A new foundation excavation is located in the safety protection zone of existing subway, the distance between them is about 2.0 m, the influence during the process of the new foundation excavation on the subway structure is inevitable. For estimating the influence, a FEM model is built to compute the influence of the new foundation excavation on the existing subway station through the FEM software ANSYS,furthermore the targeted counter measures is adopted.
Research conclusions:(1) The influence of the new foundation excavation on the subway structure is significant, especially during the process of the foundation excavation and rainfall. (2) The influence on the subway station is largest when the foundation excavation is excavated to the bottom, the vertical displacement is 26.3 mm, and the horizontal displacement is 17.8 mm. (3) During the excavating, process the measures must be taken to reduce the influence to make sure that the subway station is safe. (4) The conclusions can be used in the similar project.
