Abstract：A lot of weak slurry stratums were existing in coastal regions of Southeast China. Significant difficulties were brought forth for the development of underground space and the construction of underground projects. The paper describes the properties and characteristics of the slurry soft soil. Combined with the construction of pedestrian underground passage in Fuzhou City, the strengthening and construction methods for the stratum with weak slurry geologic conditions are expounded also in this paper.
