Research conclusions: Having done the overall research on the development concept，development theory and key technologies of French high—speed turnout，this paper presents the main technical characteristics of French high—speed turnout．The good integration of turnout structure with welded rail can ensure the stability of turnout geometry．The strict control of manufacturing precision can ensure the good regularity of turnout geometry and position．And the design concept of the mechanical—electrical integration can make the adaptation of locking system to free expansion of blade and point rails to ensure the safety and reliability of turnout behavior．All these can be as the references to our design of high—speed turnout．
