Abstract:Research purposes: It is necessary to upgrade the existing railway for enhancing the passenger transportation capability of the existing railway. After the sixth-round speed-up , the speed of the double-sets coupled EMUS with double working pantographs is up to 250 km/h,so it needs to do researches on the technology for upgrading overhead contact line for the purpose of making the sixth-round speed-up going smoothly.
Research Conclusions: The tested results of EMUS with double pantograph show both of overhead contact line system JY250 and JY 250C can meet the relative requirements. The design can be optimized in big sense with usage of JY250 System, which can reduce the construction cost, provide the reference to similar works in future and bring large social benefits.
