Abstract The paper expounds the basic characteristics of the Xinyuba ancient scattered earth-body in Yangpingguan-Ankang Railway Line. It explores also the evolution procedure of its deformation and the formation mechanism of this scattered earth-body. Based on these conceptions, the methods and suggestions are proposed for works at the similar regions.
