Abstract Research purposes: The introduction is given in this paper to the design of inspection and repair line for wheel-sets on linear motor vehicle major repair base, the study is done on the design of inspection and repair line for wheel-sets of linear motor vehicle, and the new thoughts about flexible and informationalized design of inspection and repair line for wheel-sets are presented.
Research conclusions: The un-wheeling repair and heavy repair of wheel-sets of linear motor vehicle will be done on two production lines separately and the flexible and information design of inspection and repair line for wheel-sets is adopted to meet the requirement of other vehicles for heavy repair of wheel-sets.
