Abstract Basing on the research of seven external prestressed beams, in this paper we analyzed the external tendons of external prestressed beam and studied the whole of the beam deformation, and we deduced a formula with members deflection and end rotation of beam as parameters of external tendons stress under the ultimate state, the calculation formula is relatively simple, combine with this text experiment result combination domestic and international relevant experiment research proceeds the contrast with the calculation value of the deduced theoretical formula, result enunciation; Calculation result agree with the experiment result very well, for this reason this kind of calculation method is simple and viable.
