Abstract The jointless switch is an important component part of jointless track across sections，it can notably raise the train running speed and the regularity. The characteristic of the temperature stress in the jointless switch lies in supporting additional temperature stress on the stock rail，the stress and the displacement presents the complex nature. For ensuring safety，laying the jointless switch must make an analysis on the strength and the stability.
