Abstract:The multi-section micro-differential-slack controlled blasting technique has been introduced in this paper. This technique was adopted for the surrounding rock excavation at cut and cover tunneling section of the municipal subway. The rock fly due to blasting, as well as the harmful influences of vibration on the neighboring traffic trunk lines, underground pipes and cables and the surrounding buildings, were avoided. Furthermore, the blasting parameters for this technique arc analyzed and calculated also in this paper.
