Abstract:This paper introduces the engineering geological nature of the soft rock and extremely soft rock which were distributed over the south segment of QINLIN G M OUNT AIN in Xi-Kang railway. It presents also the directive principle of the design. It analyses the influence to the tunnel and roadbed. Finally, it gives several proposals about surveying,designing and constructing the railway's tunnel and roadbed through these stratum, so as to be used for reference.
