The paper describes the regulation treatment for a bigger collapse disaster occurred in construction of the Xirnin谓 u~chang Tunnel on the Zhuzhou-Liupanshui double track line of the Xiang -Qian Railway. The adopted measures are the auxiliary construction measures， including the pre-grouting of open cut tunnel entrance and ground surface， the pre-grouting of extra-leading short pipe-shed inside of the tunnel， self-advanced type grouting anchor bolts， etc.
