Taking the design of Xiangtang rail welding plant as an example, the article disserts the technological process of continuous welded rail (CWR) and head hardened rail (HHR) production line, arrangement of general technological layout, principle of the disposal for manufacturing equipment and main index of technical characteristics. Final we approach the principle and method to optimize technology design.
