Abstract

The passenger train's speed will be up to Z00 km/h on newly built railway line for mixed passenger and freight traffic in order to realize the leaping development of railway. Thus, the requirement for construction quality of catenary is different from that for normal speed and it is necessary to work out relative construction standard. This paper describes several key problems related to construction of catenary in theory and practice based on foreign standard in order to meet the requirement for catenary on electrified railway line with speed of 200 km/h.
