Comments on the Progress and Development of Blasting Technology from Application of Smooth(Presplitting) Blasting

Abstract

Research purposes：This paper reviews the research and applicable experience of smooth (presplitting) blasting to show the progress of the blasting technology, the contribution to great social and economic benefits made by the blasting technology and that the science and technology is the first productive force, and points out the continuous seeking the high requirements of quality and security for the blasting is the power for the progress and development of the blasting technology.

Research conclusions：The correct theory should be used to guide the innovation of the blasting technology, the advanced equipments and technologies should be introduced to support the development of the blasting technology in future, and the standards and codes should be worked out, verified and improved to push forward the application of the blasting technology. This paper also gives suggestions on the development of the smooth (presplitting) blasting technology.
