Application of Drainage Decompression and Grouting Reinforcement Technologies in Construction of Tunnel in Rich Water Fault Zone

Abstract

Research purposes:At present,for construction of the tunnel in special and complex engineering geological and hydrogeological conditions,there is no reasonable and especial construction plan because the geological condition is not well known and the hazards of confined water are underestimated. Therefore,the water bursting,mud bursting and collapse happen easily during construction because of adopting the traditional construction plan.For construction of the Jiubao Tunnel in rich water fault zone,the drainage decompression was conducted for releasing the confined water ahead.
Research conclusions:( 1) From this practice,it was seen when the water pressure of the main tunnel was controlled to below 0.2 MPa,the follow-up construction could be conducted.The introduction was given to the construction technology of grouting,the relative parameters for the grouting design,the grouting method and the inspection and evaluation of the grouting effect.(2) When the water leakage volume of one hole was between 1.8 ~ 2 L /min and the maximum total water discharge volume of the working face was controlled to 5 ~ 8 m3/ h,the tunnel excavation could be conducted.
