Abstract

Abstract:Research purposes:
The accidents of rockfall collapse abound along the railway, it has become more and more important how to ensure the safe operation of the railway. In view of this situation, there is an urgent need to develop a set of automatic monitoring system which meets a variety of conditions in the high-risk sections along the long-term observation, automatic discovery of railway obstacle, and can provide early warning for passing trains. This paper applied FPSS(Fiber Perimeter Security Systems) to realize the vibration analysis and alarm function of passive network rockfall along the railway.
Research conclusions:1)Systematic development using FPSS optical fiber sensing technology, can be used successfully forvibration analysis and alarm of railway passive network rockfall, which have real-time, all-weather, unattended monitoring of passive rockfall network along the railway, to guarantee the safe operation of the railway. (2) The successful design of the system has realized  the rockfall vibration signal acquisition of passive railway network, signal interference demodulation, signal acquisition, signal analysis and processing of the whole process. (3) The application of engineering examples show that the effect is good.(4)The research results can be applied to rockfall alarm of railway and highway.
