Research purposes: The complex geological cross section of railway includes many special stratum such as cross line and lens, which leads to complex stratum information and difficult to calculate the excavation quantity in cross section design procedurally. Therefore, it is necessary to study the method and idea of digital analysis and excavation calculation for complex geological cross section, and use the algorithm to realize the programmed calculation of excavation quantity in railway cross section design, so as to meet the needs of large-scale railway design.
Research conclusions: (1) The method provided in this paper can analyze any complex geological cross section, transform it into standard digital format, and assign the stratum attribute by the stratum information transmission method proposed in this paper; (2) According to the digital analysis results of geological cross section, the integral method is used to calculate the earthwork within the excavation line; (3) Using the digital analysis and excavation calculation method proposed in this paper, the cross-section excavation calculation program module is compiled, which is widely used in the design of many high-speed railways, such as Shenyang-Changbaishan, Weifang-Yantai, Jining-Datong-Taiyuan railway, and greatly improves the design efficiency and accuracy; (4) The method proposed in this paper can provide the reference for the software development in the field of highway and water conservancy.
