Abstract Research purposes: With the increasingly close connection between Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration and two Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations, the railway channel transport capacity of the Chang-Zhu-Tan urban agglomerations to the Yangtze River Delta is becoming increasingly saturated. The construction plan of the Changsha to Jiujiang high-speed railway will provide a new fast channel for the above two areas, and effectively solve the problem of insufficient transport capacity of the Shanghai-Kunming and the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway. In this research, it is intended to realize the scientific introduction of the Chang-Zhu-Tan hub of the Changsha-Jiujiang high-speed rail, and reasonably determine the arrangement of the track contact points and contact lines of the Chang-Zhu-Tan hub.
Research conclusions: (1)Section of Changsha-Ganzhou Railway from Huanghua Airport Station to Changsha West Station integration plan make full use of Changsha-Ganzhou railway project in Chang-Zhu-Tan hub, and can connect with major stations within the hub and flexible routing within the hub.(2)Through the "T" shaped connection line, the traffic flow of the Changsha-Jiujiang high-speed railway can be shunted to the south and west of Changsha in time, and the line capacity of the Changsha-Ganzhou railway section in the hub can be balanced, so as to avoid tension inindividual sections.(3)The project investment and construction difficulty are relatively small, so it is recommended. (4)The new high-speed railway introduces the existing railway junction, which has great influence on the operation of the existing ballastless track line and is difficult to construct. In order to minimize the impact of future construction on operations and reduce abandoned works, it is recommended that the Changsha-Jiujiang high-speed railway be planned as soon as possible and reasonably reserved.(5)The research results can provide reference for similar new lines to be introduced into railway junction projects.
