Linkage Update Method of Subgrade BIM Models Based on Multiple Guide Lines

Abstract

Research purposes: Subgrade engineering has the characteristics of strong correlation with topographic and geologic conditions, various and discrete components and complex spatial relationships, which result in the difficulties of hard linkage update of subgrade models, low efficiency and poor accuracy of BIM design for complex work points. Therefore, this paper aims to study a method suitable for subgrade model linkage update.
Research conclusions: (1) Technology architecture of subgrade BIM design system is built, the linkage update method of subgrade BIM models based on multiple guide lines is proposed, which builds linkage update mechanism with multiple ordered guide lines in three-dimensional space. (2) Based on the secondary development and verification of MicroStation platform, the method fits the features of subgrade engineering, realizes automatic linkage update of subgrade models, and greatly improves efficiency and accuracy of complex work points BIM design. (3) The research results have been verified and applied on the Changsha-Ganzhou Railway, which meet the request of BIM forward design, and can be promoted and applied in the BIM design of railway subgrade.
