Abstract Research purposes: This paper establishes the analysis and calculation theory of the effective length of receiving- departure track on Passenger Dedicate Line and presents them ensures of shortening its effective length and its impacts thereof etc: This has profound realistic signification in the saving investment on station and yard construction project
Research methods: First, this paper establishes the calculation principle of the effective length of receiving- departure track integrated considerations; Second, this paper analyzes in detail the established theory of its effective length and distance for train safe protection ;At last analysis has been perform on adopting the proper parameter to calculate It ?s effective length, the m ensures for shortening its effective length and its effect thereof
Research conclusions : The effective length of receiving- departure track is related to rolling stocks performance, train controlmode train-bom equipment ?s performance, and the grade of station site. It is calculated theoretical that its Effective length may be much shorter than the length issued in the domestic regulation.
