Abstract Research purposes: Aiming at the problem that the geological disasters of inrush water and inrush mud often happen in the course of construction of tunnel,this paper offers the scientific concepts and monitoring methods for control of underground water for the purpose ensuring tunnel construction safety and quality.
Research conclusions: Taking construction of large railway tunnel as an example,this paper mainly studies the activities and balance laws of underground water,the influence of geological disasters caused by underground water and water leakage Off tunnel construction,the importance of underground water control,and the technical standards and measures for underground water control. The results show that it is very important to monitor underground water that flows from tunnel surrounding rock into tunnel in the course of tunnel construction and later,although it is difficult to analyze and predict the influence of underground water.Grouting the rock mass is the most effective way to control the underground water.
