Abstract In accordance with the deformation characteristic of surrounding rock during the construction of I line of tunnel in creep stratum, the mechanics model of surrounding rock during grouting was proposed and the numerical simulation analysis was put forward. The grouting thickness for surrounding rock and the mechanics parameters were determined,and the control of grouting for surrounding rock of tunnel in operation was thoroughly studied. A lot of practical measuring data which are proposed in this paper may be used as reference to ensure the traffic safety during construction by grouting. The comprehensive evaluation of the effects of grouting are also proposed in this paper.
