Abstract The defects of landslide of loess mass are the important natural diseases which in?jure the safety of humanity. The countermeasures against the landslide of loess mass are very difficult due to its wide distribution，rapid speed of its deformation and its serious harmful?ness. Based on the large-scale experimental practices in field and combined with the speciali?ties of the landslide itself，the paper researches and discusses the technique of raising the an?chor force for loess mass,the law of transmitting the action of anchor force in the landslide of loess and the problems concerned with the structural design of the new type anchor eagineer。
