1 COMPARISON ON DYNAMICS PERFORMANCE OF DIFFERENT SECTIONS OF MIXED RAILWAY WITH PASSENGER AND FREIGHT TRAFFIC

On the basis of the theory of vehicle -track coupling dynamics, the dynamics performance of passenger and freight trains passing through the different sections with different match speeds are simulated and evaluated systematically by using the railway vehicle and locomotive specification for evaluation of dynamics performance and accreditation test. Results show that the indices obtained from new design are largerer than those from old fan on the condition of different sections settled in the paper, and it is unobvious in the difference. Under all schemes, except one index, safety indices do not exceed limited values and ride performances are excellent.

5 APPLICATION OF SOUND INTENSITY TECHNIQUE IN IDENTIFY THE NOISE SOURCES OF MAGLEV TRAIN

The P-P technique in measuring the sound intensity is presented and the phase should be matched when using the P-P technique to measure the sound intensity. The noise sources of the running maglev train compartment are identified by using the sound intensity method. The results are studied by analyzing the transfer functions. We can drawn a condusion that when the train is running at the speed of 430km/h, the noise transmits into the compartment mainly from the wall of the train. The 1/3-octave spectrums of the sound intensity are studied and the contributions of frequency component from every measuring point are analyzed. It can be concluded that the reflective intensity below 100Hz is mainly from the wall of the train. In other spectrums, the contributions of the three points are similar.

15 ANALYSIS OF DYNAMIC RESPONSE BY TRANSITION ZONE OF SPEED-RAISE RAILWAY

In order to evaluate the improvement level of track structure dynamic response by the transition zone between railroad and bridge of speed-raise railway, the research is made on the design and test of track dynamic response of transition zone of Beijing-Kowloon Line in this paper. The transition zone was filled by 20m gradation crushed stones and the test parameters to track dynamic response were rail vertical force, rail acceleration and tie acceleration. The test shows if there is a transition zone at junction location between railroad and bridge, when train runs from the rail of low rigidity to the rail of high rigidity, the rail vertical force, rail acceleration and tie acceleration gradually change from small to large without sudden change. When train runs from the rail of high rigidity to the rail of low rigidity, the rail vertical force, rail acceleration and tie acceleration gradually change from large to small. If there is no transition zone at junction location between railroad and bridge, when train runs from the rail of high rigidity to the rail of low rigidity, the dynamic response becomes small suddenly with sudden change. It is known from the analysis of the tests to the junction location with transition zone and without transition zone, when the train's speed is less than 200km/h, the transition zone filled by 20m graduation crushed stones can assist reducing track dynamic response of transition zone.

20 DISCUSSION ON THE PROBLEMS ABOUT CONSTRUCTION OF BALLASTLESS TRACK IN THE PASSENGER DEDICATED RAIL- WAY LINE

Different from traditional ballast track, there are significant differences in the control of subgrade settlement, the structure of subgrade bed, the construction of transitional section, as well as general pre- evaluation when constructing ballastless track. In this paper, after investigating the techniques of the ballastless tracks used in the world, several key technical problems about constructing ballastless track under subgrades discussed, which includes the concept of residual settlement, the constitution of subgrade settlement, the standard and the measures on the control of subgrade settlement, the transmission of dynamic stress on subgrade bed, the design patterns and the length of transitional section, as well as the construction techniques on connecting different types of structures for the ballastless track. Besides, the evaluation standard and the approach to analyze subgrade settlement before construction studied in detail. Combining with previous work on several existing passenger dedicated railway line and referred to the data from international consultation about the design of transportation line, some helpful suggestions are proposed to guide the design and the construction of the ballastless track in the passenger dedicated railway line

25 ANALYSIS OF TRACK REGULARITY AND STABILITY FOR PASSENGER DEDICATED RAILWAY LINE

This paper describes the permanent high regularity track of passenger dedicated line in details, which is one of features of passenger dedicated railway line. Passenger dedicated line requires the high regularity and stability of subgrade, bridge, ballast track infrastructure individually, and also requires the regularity and stability integrally after they get together. This paper also 'analyses the new technology, new structure, new materials and new technique used for subgrade, bridge, tunnel, ballast track infrastructure and their structures in order to keep permanent high regularity of track, for reference to building passenger dedicated line.

28 STUDY ON COMBINED METHOD OF VACUUM -SURCHARGE PRELOADING AND ITS APPLICATION IN TREATING DEEP AND SOFT FOUNDATION OF HIGH-SPEED RAILWAY

Through theoretical analyses and site model testing and experiencing, this paper puts forth the design of combined method of vacuum-surcharge preloading in treating deep and soft foundation of high-speed railway, its construction techniques and effects to surround environment. Some key techniques, such as effective consolidation depth , settlement control after projection and measures to control affecting on surrounding environment , etc. , are solved to some extent. The results obtained are important to develop and perfect the mechanism of vacuum preloading in consolidating soft foundation , The forecast of post -construction settlement indicated: it can satisfy the request of settlement 10 cm and settlement 5 cm after vacuum unloading the latter 1 month and II months. This method is the highly effective low price soft ground processing method and can effectively reduce the post-construction settlement to achieve the preloading and overload, and the advantages as followings: fill earth quickly; short construction time and preloading, processing depth bigger, and so on

34 EFFECT OF FOUNDATION TRENCH STRENGTH TO ENDOGEN FORCE AND FAILURE MODEL OF CANTILEVER RETAINING WALL

The thesis is based on the several existing theories about the design and calculation of cantilever retaining wall which has been widely used for strengthening the slope stability. In our country, some conventional methods using the balance principle of outer force are usually made use of to resolve a series of problems about the cantilever retaining wall. Normally, traditional methods ignore the influence of inner force itself. So the results are not exact enough to meet some needs of engineers. Some novelty techniques emerge in the calculation field of civil engineering, such as the finite element method and so on. These methods help us to recognize and analyze complex problems further. The geotechnical mechanism and structural mechanism are also developed in the meantime. The interact influence between mass rock and the structure has not been recognized thoroughly. The speed of development of calculation level about the cantilever retaining wall is still too low to meet the demands which are virtually derived from engineers. The article is based on the advanced geotechnical mechanism and rock mass mechanism, and the finite element method is also used to calculate the inner force of cantilever retaining wall. There are many factors which contribute to the endogen force distribution and deformation of cantilever retaining wall. Considering all these, the writes mainly analyze the relationship between the strength of foundation trench and the distribution of endogen force. The deformations of the cantilever retaining wall are compared in different conditions. The field deformation and failure model of different strength conditions are studied at the same time. The imitating and calculation model of cantilever retaining wall is set up according to the factual physical and mechanical properties of foundation trench and slope above it. Recording the variable date including the strength of foundation trench, the endogen force and deformation of cantilever retaining wall in several different conditions is essential by virtue of study purpose. The variation of the strain energy is also observed in the same zone of cantilever retaining wall. According to the study and analysis, the loss of the ability to retain is not always due to the crack of the concrete and steel which compose the wall body, the destruction of foundation trench is also an critical reason. So compacting the foundation trench is indispensable in the process of construction for cantilever retaining wall. In sum, the present calculation theories are not prefect, the article are hoped to be benefit to the design and calculation of the cantilever retaining wall.

39 ENGINEERING AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS AND COUNTERMEASURES OF HIGH CUTTING SLOPE OF SUBGRADE

Cutting slope engineering of subgrade must fit in with topographic, geologic and environmental characteristics of hillside fields, otherwise it can lead to the cutting slope too high and very bald and bring about engineering and environmental hazards. Aim at engineering and environmental problems of high cutting slope of subgrade, the author analysed interrelation between height of cutting slope and support engineering, interrelation between height and mean gradient of cutting slope, interrelation between height of cutting slope and hillside shape, and interrelation between protective engineering and ecological environmental of cutting slope, and expounded action reducing height of cutting with support engineering, principle changing gently of cutting slope step by step upward , affecting to slope engineering by every hillside shapes, and green engineering measure protecting cutting slope. Accordingly , the author advanced countermeasures for controlling engineering and environmental problems of high cutting slope of subgrade: to construct high and steep support engineering at slope foot, based on principle of the more high then the more slow to cutting slope and to submit to hillside shape, and to protect cutting slope with mainstay (or framework) add plat cover. Take this for example, the author expounded controlling to hazard projects of high cutting slope in the Lugu-Xichang high-speed highway.

43 RESEARCH AND PROSPECT ON THE CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT OF PACKING PILE

The technique used to reinforce foundation of railroad shows a significant effect after it was used in the construction of reinforcing the foundation of the railroad from Guangzhou to Shenzhen. But there is no any technological equipment which can guaranty it to be used widely at home or overseas. In the construction of the railroad from Guangzhou to Shenzhen ,much labor force with high intensity was involved, but the production efficiency was low and the engineering quality was poor. To construct on the current foundation of railroad, limited by the narrow construction site, the construction equipment to fulfill it must be of small bulk, light weight, flexibility, high effect and so on, on the condition the safety is to be assured. In 2002, the construction equipment for packing pile was developed. It filled in the gaps in domestic in this aspect. This set of equipment includes the drilling machine, the compacting machine and an up-and -down the rail bed unit. It had a good effect after being tried out in the railroad from Beijing to Shanhaiguan and the one from Beijing to Qinhuangdao. The key part of the construction equipment for packing pile was the drilling machine. Without the high efficient top-quality drilling machine, only depending on manual construction, it is difficult to efficiently fulfill the construction of packing pile in large amount. The developed drilling machine uses a series of key techniques like hydraulic transmission, application oil cylinder-chain machine to increase the power, extending and retracting drilling rod, circular drilling teeth and fast joint etc. It can rapidly work on the rail bed and go downward to avoid the train, at the same time it satisfies what is limited by the construction environment to the equipment. This equipment can be widely used in the reinforcement of the foundation of railroad and it can bring the damaged part under control. After a slightly refit, it can also be used in geologic drilling and dealing with soft foundation. It has a good application foreground. In the paper, a brief introduction was discussed on the technological fundamentals of packing pile. The paper also discussed some developed construction equipment for packing pile, which include its main specification, structural feature, key technique, test in-situ. This paper gave an advice on the measures to improve some deficiencies in the equipment, in addition the paper foreseed and analyzed its further development and its prospect in application as well.

48 RESEARCH ON THE REINFORCING EFFECT OF ADJACENT SHORT PILE BRIDGE FOUNDATION IN METRO STATION CONSTRUCTION

Combined with the Guomao station of Beijing metro line 10, by means of ABAQUS software, in order to protect the safety of pile foundation around the building metro station engineering, several main consolidation projects are concerned about, based on different reinforcing projects, 3-D FEM numerical models used to simulation reinforcing effect are built respectively, construction process and construction effect on the adjacent short-pile foundation of Guomao bridge are simulated and the deformation and force character of pile foundation as well as the interaction mechanism. of pile-soil simulated by means of surface to surface contact element type of ABAQUS software are studied. The partial results acquired by simulation and measure are nearly consistent by compare, such as surface settlement maximal value by simulation is 7.5 mm and 13.10 mm and its maximal value by measure is 13.46 mm and bridge foundation settlement value by simulation is ?.5 mm and its measure value is 7.32 mm, and a mass of harvest is achieved. The conclusions are reached that pile settlement can be effectively decreased by underpinned pile, such as its settlement for 22.3 mm without reinforcing measure and its settlement less than 29 mm with reinforcing measure and pile settlement less than control criterion for the latter, and that there is almost no effect on reducing pile foundation settlement induced by construction for the latter, and that there is almost no effect on reducing pile foundation settlement induced by construction by means of bracket used to uninstall and grouting reinforcement around pile bottom, and that based on economy and rationality, the project of case-2 is recommended for similar engineering construction. It was proved on real engineering condition that bridge foundation settlement value is 7.5 mmat the end of the S1 construction stage, bridge foundation settlement value is 10.8 mm at the end of the S2 construction stage, bridge foundation settlement value is 12.2 mm at the end of the S2 construction stage, bridge foundation settlement value is 14.8 mm at the end of the S4 construction stage, bridge foundation settlement value is 17.7 mm at the end of the SS construction stage. And also it was proved that for the case-1 maximal resistance of short pile is 3682 kPa and its negative friction force whose maximal value is 1.2 kPa is relatively small, and that for case-2 maximal resistance of short pile is 779 kPa and its negative friction force whose maximal value is 0.2 kPa is relatively smaller and maximal resistance of long pile is 6813 kPa and its negative friction force whose maximal value is 0.6 kPa is relatively smaller. The basis and guidance are provided for succedent and similar engineering construction.

53 BEARING CAPACITY OF THE COMPRESSION BAR WITH INITIAL DEFLECTION UNDER AXIAL UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED LOADS

Lattice form assembled structure has rather large initial geometric deflection that brings influence to its structural mechanical proprieties. The linear elastic theory can be used as a basis to judge the safety of perfect slender bar. But the critical load of lattice column obtaining from linear stability analysis is generally high. The corresponding critical stress is usually higher than the ultimate strength of material. So the critical force of linear buckling theory is not suitable to be as the safety design standard of such engineering structures. A compression bar bearing axial uniformly distributed load (containing self-weight) is studied in this paper. Considering the initial geometric deflection, the deflected curve is got by power-series solution. Furthermore, the theoretical ultimate load is obtained based on the yielding criterion of the cross-sectional edge stresses. The obtained bearing capacity is lower than the critical load by the linear stability theory for the engineering structures in practice so that the present work can be as the basic theory to the structural safety designs.

56 APPLICATION OF MODIFIED ECCENTRIC -COMPRESSIVE METHOD IN THE TRANSVERSAL DISTRIBUTION OF LOADING OF CABLE-STAYED BRIDGE

The cable-stayed bridge, an indeterminate structure with more degrees of redundancy, consists of towers, cables and girders. Under loading, towers, cables and girders take part in working in cooperation with each other. Currently, the method of loading transversal distribution of cable-stayed bridge is the eccentric- compressive method. It means that cables sustain vertical forces and box girder sustains torsion moment. The torsion stiffness of girder with open cross section is assumed to be zero. So, the girder with open cross section can't sustain torsion. Based on the analysis of cables and girders working cooperation with each other, loading transversal distribution of girder mostly depends on the coupling of bending and torsion. In this paper the application of modified eccentric-compressive method has been discussed and some improvement on it has been also done. At the end of this paper, some results of examples obtained from SAP, a large finite element program, are given. Compared with the values obtained from the modified eccentric-compressive method and the improved method, it can be seen that the improved eccentric-compressive method is suitable for the cable-stayed bridge.

62 ANALYSIS ON THE GROUND DEFORMATION NUMERICAL IMITATES OF SHALLOW TUNNEL IN DIFFERENT EXCAVATION

Because the construction of metro tunnel at shallow depth damages stratum, stratum stress is freed and corresponding deformation is generated, and then the nonlinear mechanical action's stress field and displacement field are studied. With the excavation of littoral tunneling at depth shallow, finite software is adopted to simulate the excavation of tunnel using partial excavation method. Taking Tianjin metro tunnel at depth shallow in inshore area soft weak surround rock for example, the mechanism of rectangular tunnel primary support large deformation process was studied. The law and extend of the influence of these factors on ground surface settlement are presented. The analyze results have showed that the excavating process is a non-liner irreversible process tightly related with in the tunnel surrounding rock and primary support stress and strain. Subsequently, corresponding technologic measures of how to control large deformation in stratum were proposed and fully applied to the construction of Yingkoudao metro station in phase I` project. Good effects were achieved in guiding tunnel construction.

66 EXPERIMENT RESEARCH ON SUPPORT PARAMETERS OF LARGE STRAIN PHYLLITE TUNNEL UNDER HIGH STRESS

The mountaintop section of Wushaoling tunnel lies in the F4~F7 compression faultage of Qilianshan tectonic area, in which has high original stress. The high stress will be decreased for the displacement of phyllite because the excavation and construction in the weak ground will lead to the larger strain from structure of tunnel. The differential support parameters from four experiment sections have been compared with and analyzed by the displacement tests, so we can drawn the followings conclusions by series of the studies in this paper: the preparatory support parameters on the experiment section of Wushaoling tunnel can be gained; and the H175 type steel with thick limb can offer enough support strength during early phase, especially can ensure the horizontal safety and stabilization of the steel arch; the small diameter rock anchor can offer the support structure larger force. And it shows the large deformation characters which control the support structure the strain from flexible to rigid as well as from free to restraining.

71 THE QUALITY SUPERVISION OF PASSING THE EXITING LINE ADOPTED THE SUPER SHALLOW BURIED SUBSURFACE EXCAVATION METHOD

The shallow-depth subsurface excavation method used in recent years by more and more underground engineering projects. The cut -and -cover method and the shield method have become one of the main construction methods for underground projects, but it is rare at home to employ the subsurface method where the extra-shallow depth stratum passes through existing lines. This article emphatically introduces the focal control points and quality supervisory measures taken by the project supervision office of our corporation in adopting, based on the features of the project and the cardinal principle of the New Austrian Method, the extra -shallow depth subsurface excavation method during the supervision of construction of the underpass beneath the Changchun north station building. By way of the effective supervision and control, the underpass successfully runs through the existing lines, ensuring the safety of railway operation, and at the same time helping the project reach the standard of excellence in quality, which has accumulated experience in the quality control over the construction traversing exiting lines with the extra -shallow depth subsurface method. The completion of the project is highly spoken by the employer and people from all walks of life.

75 REVIEW OF HIGH STRENGTH CONCRETE OF CHINESE RAILWAY FOR 50 YEARS AND PROSPECTS

This paper gives an introduction to the development of high strength concrete of Chinese railway for 50 years. The development experience can be divided into three stages .In the first stage,C40-55 dry and low plastic high strength concrete was made from common HSC and plastics doped compound agent (dehumidifying agent) HSC by adopting the techniques of bench vibration, side form vibration and bottom die vibration, for massive production of pre -stressed concrete tie , tube pile , post of catenary and bridge. In the second stage , the plastic HSC was made with NSF high efficient dehumidifying agent. The systematic experiments were done for ‘physical mechanics and structure performance of NSF-HSC according to the features of railway traffic , such as high speed,heavy haul,dynamic loading and safety. In the third stage, the ASF high efficient and PCE high efficient dehumidifying agents were produced and applied. This paper concludes that the PCE high efficient dehumidifying agent call meet the requirements of railway engineering and. is an ideal agent for high strength and high performance concrete for railway.

79 EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON ENGINEERING OF FILLING SEA AND SUBGRADE REINFORCEMENT FOR SHENZHEN WEST CORRIDOR

The site of Shenzhen West Corridor Port was neritic zone and oyster land with lots of 7.0-24.0m mud and silt c1ay.The seae mbankments in east and south were at deep marine zone with great thickness of mud.Therefore,it was difficult to treat subgrade in soft soil zone. The different methods were proposed for treat the subgrade in soft soil zone because of the complexity of the engineering of filling sea and treating subgrade for Shenzhen West Corridor. To the outside sea embankments in east and south, they were filled by stones and treated by the method of explosive drain mud, along with strong consolidation. To the subgrade in soft soil zone within yard plateau, it was treated by the method of plastic drainage plate along with method of stockpile loading pre-pressure for drain water and consolidation. To the insulation embankment and transition zone between sea embankment and yard plateau , they were reinforced by sand pile. The bodies of insulation embankment and sea embankment were treated by strong consolidation. The practices show the application of the methods mentioned above are successful and worth being applied widely.

84 RESEARCH ON THE CRACK WIDTH OF PART PRESTRESSING CONCRETE SQUARE-SECTION BEAM BY BP NEURAL NETWORK

In this paper, the crack width of partly prestressing concrete square-section beam under the bending moment is explored by BP neural network. Firstly, by theoretical analyzing and testing BP neural network, the main effect factors that influence the crack width are found and other second-class effect factors are neglected. The optimized BP neural network is created, and more influential factors can be considered in the mode at the same time and the method of predit the crack width by BP Neural Network is discussed. Training and simulating with different samples show that the results are in accordance with the actual data well. It can be seen that it is feasible and precise to predict the crack width of partly prestressing forcing concrete square- section beam under the bending moment by BP neural network, and it is much better than using the calculation formula of the china's code for design of concrete structures

By introducing background, design condition of ShuiYu railway project, this paper analyzed, calculated and test compared different catenary suspension mode and accessory on the electrification lines. To fix diagram of different suspension mode, catenary design has been praised in synthesizing standards of Germany, Japan and China, using flexible design method, and giving some suggestions to power supply design in high speed railway 、 constructions in future. The experiences of running double-deck container wagon on the high speed railway in mountain area have also been obtained. Through the testing in ShuiYu railway project, we believe it is right to absorb advanced technology and equipment, material from foreign countries.

95 ESTABLISH LABOUR SERVICE COMPANY TO PROMOTE SEPARATION OF TWO LEVELS

This paper explores the importance of establishing labour service company to promote separation of two levels of state-owned large construction enterprise, discusses the principle of establishing company, operation model of company and resolutions to the relative problems, puts forward that establishing labour service company is an effective way for the construction enterprise to meet requirements of market economy and its development, to improve management level and employees' professional skill, to train professional team, to meet the requirement of professional production , to establish the platform of employment , to use surplus labour force within enterprise rationally and realize rational flow of labourers within the enterprise The principles for establishing labour service company are as follows ; The employee should hold the stock of the company and the property of the company should be multiplied. The company should be operated according to the rules of market and develops step by step. Additionally, labour service company should make its own managerial decision , hold responsible for profit and losses, develop by itself and pay taxes according to the requirements for establishing modern enterprise system. The registered capital of unity professional labour service company should not less than 0.5 million Yuan RMB and the registered capital of overall labour force company should not less than 0.8 million Yuan RMB. Labour service company can be unity skilled professional company and also can be overall skilled company. The suggestions are proposed to the problems in establishing the company, such as business site, employees' identification, personnel management, Party Member and person management and supplement and usage of internal labour force.

98 BUILDING AND DEVELOPMENT OF CONSTRUCTION TEAMS IN STATE-OWNED CONSTRUCTION ENTERPRISE

This thesis aims at seeking effectual methods to the management of construction team building on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of project management and construction team building of construction enterprises, fixing a reasonable orientation to the enterprise on the basis of property right reform, mechanism innovation, resource conformity, construction team building and labor management, etc; so as to set up long-acting mechanism for the building and management of construction teams through building self-owned construction teams and labor enterprises with independent legal person qualification. It expatiates the feasibility, form and method. It also shows that insisting on the separation between the management and operation of construction teams, and various forms to build construction teams is the only way for the state -owned construction enterprises to survive and develop. Construction enterprises should acclimatize themselves to the requirement of market economy and insist on two “opinions” issued by Construction Department and consider property right innovation and mechanism innovation and resource conformity and construction teams building and labor management. Construction enterprises should face on actively labor system innovation and exert existing advantage to build themselves construction teams. The article describes the feasibility, form and method which enterprise builds own construction teams and establish a labor enterprise with independent legal qualification. It shows the problem and important points which enterprises should consider in the process of building.
