ESTABLISHMENT OF COMPLETELY NEW CONCEPT FOR BUILDING FIRST-CLASS PASSENGER DEDICATED LINE

This paper describes the development history, present situation and features of passenger dedicatedlines over the world, points out the experience and lessonswhich should be drawn by us, presents the main problems in construction of four longitudinal and lateral passenger dedicated lines and key technical problems in construction of infrastructure, and proposes thinking onleaping development of railway. Therefore, completely new concept should be established for construction of passenger dedicated line.

This paper presents the importance and necessity of building Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan Passenger Dedicated Line through analysis of the present situation of carrying capacity of Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan Railway Line and plan of passenger traffic network of Chinese Railway, analyses and demonstrates the main technical standards adopted on the line, studies the schemes of the line approaching to terminal and sectional direction of travel according to the traffic characters of gangway, overall terminal plan and geological situation along the line, and evaluates the expected economic benefits of the line.

RAIL WELDING OF JOINTLESS OF PASSENGER DEDICATED LINE

It is required high-quality rail welded joint on passenger dedicated line and its appearance quality should be better than that on normal speed line. The joint quality depends on the factors of rail, welding method, operator's quality and management of welding. This paper makes a comparison of the quality of rail joints welded by different methods, proposes that the movable flashed welded rail should be adopted on passenger dedicated line, and presents the allocation of reference operation position and procedure for welding long specified-length rail on site.

A NEW THINKING ON REINFORCEMENT TECHNIQUE FOR SUBGRADE IN SOFT SOIL ZONE

How to shorten the process of consolidation settlement and control the settlement volume after rein-forcing subgrade in soft soil zone , these are two important issues that should be paid attention to in design and construction of subgrade in soft soil zone of railway line with speed of 200 km/h and above. This paper gives an introduction to new thinking on design and construction of subgrade in soft soil zone of Shanghai Fl Velodrome, namely taking reinforcement technique for subgrade bottom and construction technique for subgrade as inte-gration, basically completing consolidation settlement in short time for different high subgrades and making settle-ment of them close to the same volume. Although , the subgrade in soft soil zone of Passenger Dedicated Line is different from that of velodrome with its own features , but it is helpful to construction of high quality subgrade in soft soil zone of Passenger Dedicated Line railway by drawing an experience of velodrome in design.

Therefore, there are lots of bridges with different types on the line. The carrying and erecting device for shell guide girder type box girder was design and developed in order to meet construction requirements. The device has made great progresses in usability, safety, stability and economic characters and the good social and economic benefits can be gained by usage of the device.
