RESEARCH ON TUNNEL CONTROL BY LAYOUT OF GUIDE LINE ADDED WITH SPINNING TOP RAKE
HE Guohong
Based on the theory of leveling error, the calculating formulas for the increment of lateral penetrating accuracy by the layout of ground and underground single guide lines added with spinning top rakes are derived strictly. The simplified and practical calculating formulas which may be solved on computer are also obtained. Applying these formulas, the optimal layout of the spinning top rakes and its strict evaluation results on lateral penetration may be obtained easyly. It is valuable as refer?ence for the design and calculation of tunnel control by the layout of ground and underground guide lines added with the spinning top rakes.

MECHANISM AND PRACTICE ON REINFORCING LOOSE BED LANDS、 LIDE WITH PRESTRESSED ANCHORING ROPE
JIANG Zhongxin
Based on the test research and engineering practices on reinforcing the loose bed landslide with prestressed anchoring rope (anchor cable) ,the problems concerned with the stress response ,anchoring force ,exhaustion of prestress force and the group of anchoring ropes are explored. The practi?cal engineering applications of reinforcing the landslide and the slope in rock fracture zone , slump-mass and sandy gravel are also expounded in detail in this paper.
(According to research and practice, the following mechanism on reinforcing loose bed landslide and slope are expounded. The regularity of transmission and response of stress is similar in loose bed and in rock bed. The anchoring force in anchoring section loose bed may be strong enough through ex?panding the aperture and grouting in twice times. Exhaustion of pres tress force with compression creep of loose bed is limited and can be compensated. Effect of a group of anchoring rope is regular,as the in?terval of the rope is suitable.
Under some conditions, the engineering of reinforcing landslide and slope in rock fracture zone,slump- mass and sandy gravel is more cheap, high speed and safe with prestressed anchoring rope than anti?slide pile. The Laoyayan landslide of the Baoji-Chengdu railway is a example in which the reinforced loose bed was applied atone with prestressed anchoring rope. Using prestressed anchoring rope for re?inforcing the excavation wall o{ sandy gravel in building of Bank of China is the first time in Chengdu city. The Badu landslide of Nanning-Kunming railway in slump-mass, a main reinforcing engineering in which the prestressed anchoring rope was applied,is a most big controlled landslide in railways.

THEORY OF RADIO WAVE PROPAGATION IN RAILWAY TUNNEL
ZHENG Cuoshen,ZHANG Wenmei,ZHANG Yueping,SHENG Jianheng
Research on radio wave propagation in tunnels has important application for mobile and personal communication. This paper first briefly reviews radio wave propagation in empty tunnels, and then concentrates on characterizing radio wave propagation in tunnels loaded with trains. For this purpose, an oversized imperfect periodically loaded rectangular waveguide is proposed, and surface impedance approximation is adopted to formulate the problem. The theoretical results show that HEM11 and TSMq.mo modes can propagate. Meanwhile, why TSMq.mo modes can not exist is also proved. The close form propagation constants for those import TSMq.mo modes are obtained. The numerical results for the propagation attenuation of the dominant TSM1.10 are presented. The influence of passengers on propagation is discussed.
