Abstract:Abstract:Research purposes: The scope and form of Chinese city have developed from a single center to the form of urban agglomeration and a wider range of regional economic entity. As a new form that between passenger dedicated line and urban rail transit. Intercity rail transit system could meet the traffic volume, speed, coverage, pass depth and many transport requirements. Its advantage has got a consensus around the world. Research on the coordination of transfer between the intercity rail transit system, the trunk railway lines and the urban rail transit systems has important practical significance on guiding intercity transit construction of urban agglomeration in China.
Research conclusions:Through the study on passenger flow design and transfer mode of intercity rail system, we can conclude that: (1) The selection of the six transit modes which include the same platform transfer, stair transfer, station hall transfer, channel transfer, outside the station transfer, combined transfer, should base on passenger transfer volume, organizational form, construction sequence and correlation of each line, the requirement of the station around ground and underground space development of the urban planning, and terrain and geological conditions. (2) Through this design it can achieve the effective distribution and safe and convenient transfer of passengers in different modes of transport. (3) This research result can be used in the design of transfer on intercity rail transit system.
