STRUGGLE TO CREATE A NEW PROSPECT FOR JOINT-INVESTED RAILWAYS
SUN Yong-fu
The joint-invested railways had been developed greatly in recent 10?20 years in China. Its developing course and the obtained achievements and expriences are expounded deeply in all-round in this paper. From the viewpoint of development strategy, the author proposes the policy, target and standardized management for developing the joint-invested railways furthermore and the measures winch should be adopted. They have important guiding meanings for present railway construction.

SUGGESTION ON DEVELOPING STANDARD GAUGE METER GAUGE TRAIN TO PROMOTE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNATIONAL RAPID THROUGH TRAFFIC
JIANG Hong
At first, the paper introduces the“ general situation of the standard-narrow gauge train of the next generation”trial-produced by Japan. During this new-type train running between the standard gauge railway and the narrow gauge railway through a wheel base exchange rail with a length of about 20 meters.the wheel-base of the train may be changed automatically within 2 minutes, and after locked automatically.the train can run continuously without hindrance. In view of there are three different track gauges(1 135,) 067 and 1 000 mm)of railways in China and Southeast. Asia, the author proposes the following suggestion,i. e.developing a new-type train whose wheel-base may be changed automati?cally under the three different track gauges,so as to promote the implementation of international rapid through traffic as soon as possible.

SOME PROPOSALS ON CONSTRUCTION SURVEY OF HIGH-SPEED RAILWAY
XU Wang-peng
High-speed railway is a synthetical system engineering with complex technic and high precision construction. Its track-laying procedure is essentially different from the procedure of common railways. According to the construction survey procedure and based on the high smooth-going track standard and theory deduction, the author puts forward some proposals. The main point is that the interval of plane survey control piling shouldn't be more than 300m,the precision of angular measure?ment shouldn’t be more than 5﹟。and the interval of vertical control pile of hase shouldn’t be more than 400 m. It is no necessary to raise survey precision excessively.

CALCULATING METHOD OF TORSION-BENDING ANALYSIS OF SIM?PLY SUPPORTED STRAIGHT CONCRETE BEAMS ON RAILWAY CURVE
ZHONG Ming,XU Ke-bin,YUAN Chang-qing
Based on the torsion-bending theory of thin-walled girder,a calculating method of continu?ous girder on elastic brace and the derivation of three-dimensional straight member stiffness matrix, are presented to analyze spatially the straight concrete beams. Namely, the diaphragm is regarded as e?lastic braces, and the beam as continuous girder on elastic brace. Both of the beam’s internal force un?der the eccentric load and the correponding internal force of diaphragms are calculated by this method. In the end of this paper, a comparison is made between the proposed method and the traditional method by a numerical example.

CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUE THAT BRING PRESTRESSED EQUIVALENT PRESSURE TO BEAR ON NO. 0 BLOCK CANTILEVER BRACKET OF CONSTRUCTED BRIDGE
WANG Zhao-hui
The No. 0 block of concrete continuous girder is in complicated stress state under the action of big bearing support counterforce and prestressed stress in three-dimensions. The phenomenon of stress centralization in soleplate and costal board nearby the bearing support is in evidence. It expends quite longtime in the duration, of concrete construction* because of the very large amount of concrete. It is easy that the asymmetric distortion of bracket crazes the concrete. The paper puts forward the construction method that bring equivalent prestressed pressure to bear on No* 0 block bracket of cantilever constructed bridge. This method can availably prevent the concrete crack and economize very much charge wiien it is compared with the traditional method that throw advanced press with conversion weight. At the same time, the paper introduces the design thinking of the light bracket which can be consulted and used for reference with similar engineering.

WATERPROOF AND DRAINAGE IN DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF CHANGLIANGSHAN TUNNEL
GAO Shu-feng
The waterproof technique is the part and pared in tunnel. If it have not good waterproof measure, the groundwater will enter into and hurt the tunnel. Now, the most serious disaster in the underground engineering is the seepage water. Repairing the seepage water is difficult and costly. So, it is arresting from design, the design and construction should be elaborated. This paper introduces the principles of waterproof and drainage, the waterproof in the entrance of tunnel.the grouting technology, the earlier supporting, the drainage in tunnel lining, laying waterproof layer, the siructural waterproof and the waterproof in constructing sew. This paper introduces emphatically the waterproof design and construction technology in tunnel.

CUI Hua-lin
During construction of tunnel with plenty water extremely-weak surrounding rock at the entrance section of the Jiling Tunnel, the applied key technique was a synthetic dewatering and drainage technique which consisted of the application of horizontal extra-lead negative-pressure water pumping, advanced-type shotcrete fracture grouting with deep and long cased boreholes. deep-well dewatering, grouting with large pile sector, as well as the drainage and leaking stoppage at working surfaces, During the implementary procedure of these technical measures, the supervision, measuring and reversing parameters repeatedly were be the very effective control means.

EXPLORATION OF MAIN PROBLEMS ON GEOLOGIC ENGINEERING WORKS DURING RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION IN RECENT TIMES
HE Zhen-ning
For railway construction in China in the recent more than 30 years, the railways were usually constructed in the regions with complex and diversified natural conditions and geologic structures. A large amount of problems concerned with very conspicuous geologic works and serious geologic disasters often occurred. The paper puts forward analyses on so much problems perfectly and in detail, and proposes the guiding principles, new conceptions, advanced technologies and specific measures for solving these kinds of problems one by one. They are valuable as reference with guiding meanings for constructing railways in the difficult regions hereafter.
